Today is Monday!
Today we will learn about what we will be doing this week.
Today, Monday, we are going to have a look at the days of the week and colours.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, we are going to have a look at Italy.
On Wednesday we are going to have a look at England.
On Thursday we are going to have a look at Slovenia.
On Friday we are going to have a look at Spain.
These are all countries. Countries in which children and students learn to speak English. They speak English to learn about each other and to learn from each other. We need English to talk, sing, listen and speak to each other.
All the days of the week have a colour, you can decide.

Each day we have a look at the different countries. Tuesday = we will have a look at Italy. Wednesday - we will have a look at England Thursday - we will have a look at Slovenia. Friday - we will have a look at Slovenia and Spain. On the right you will see the Italian flag. What colours does it have? Please colour the flag of Italy. The teacher will decorate the class with it. Write down 'Italy' across the flag. Use your best handwriting! |

Now you are going to make a poster in a group of 2/3 pupils:
- Write in colouful letters the title of your poster on top.
- You will write 5 things you 'like' about England. 'I like .......'
- Draw/find pictures of 3 'sights' in England.
- Write about these sights: colours, in/under/next to etc. 'The bus is in front of Big Ben'.
- Draw 2 English clocks.
1 = when you started + you write down 'We started ...............' (time)
2 = when you finished + you write down 'We finished ............' (time).
