Blog Ideas

Some ideas to help you get started with the BLOG project.

Below you will find some ideas to help you get started with the BLOG project. These are just to get you started, feel free to be as creative as you can be.
Each group of students can choose a different topic and a different format of presenting. The only requirement is that the project is completed in English and that it is a fun and educational exercise.

Good luck to everyone!

Ideas:

Create an ADVERT.

Make up a new product or event and then let everyone know about it.

Your advert can be made to go in a newspaper, on a notice board or be a part of an online blog. Think about the colours you will use, what information people need, the price etc.

Time to INTERVIEW someone.

Come up with some interview questions and interview someone you know or try and imagine how someone famous would answer your questions.

You can present this task in written form or you can act it out for your parents.

Show everyone what an average day in your life looks like.
You can do this as a group. Add in all the different tasks that the students do every day and make a list of chores you help with around the house.

Keep everyone entertained by singing one of your favourite songs from the week. Try add some actions to the words and get everyone in your group to join in.

Start a COMPETITION!

What do people have to do to enter?
What can they win?
Who will be the judges?

Share all the information with the people who will read your blog.

Come up with a story line and draw a CARTOON!

Decide on who the characters will be and what they will be doing in the story. Draw the characters and write a few dialogues to let people know what is happening in each picture.

Draw an outline of your hand and use it to share some INTERESTING FACTS about yourself.

Or make a "hand flower" using a cutout of a hand outline from all the members in your group. Each person can write something about themselves on their hand.

Do you know a tasty RECIPE that is easy to make?

Share your recipe with your readers.

Remember to include an ingrediants list and how to prepare the meal.

You can also add in some tips and tricks or the best way to eat the meal.
For example: "Best eaten with your fingers", or "delicious with ketchup!"
